申请经验心得

  1. 尽量不要找没有任何connection的pt写推荐信
  2. 不要跟风申太多自己不太想去的专业（例如苯人拿着申计算生物的文书改了改去申纯数统，无一例外的rej...招生官应该也能感觉到我对纯数毫无热情(lll￢ω￢))
  3. 区别均分和绩点。申美国我觉得绩点3.8以上众生平等，在此基础上connection和paper比均分更重要。牛剑的几个纯数统项目可能倾向于招均分很高的人（但是也要有匹配的科研/实习）。除非热爱，本科期间只顾着卷均分是性价比极低的事情，一定要清楚自己真正想要什么
  4. 不要局限于学校给的官方科研/实习资源，提高信息检索能力，好的机会不会主动示人
